I'm sure the comparisons between Blackest Night and X Necrosha were always inevitable.
Both follow a similar basic formula, with the legions of deceased heroes rising from the grave to torment the living.
By sheer virtue of the fact that Necrosha came second, readers have been accusing Craig Kyle, Chris Yost, and the other X-Men writers of ripping off Blackest Night.

Chicago's "X-Force" panel got off to an interesting start.
Following a singing scheduling conflict, the team of Craig Kyle, Christopher Yost and Mike Choi arrived a few minutes late, followed by a line of fans still wanting books signed.
After a few unruly minutes, Wizard's Mike Cotton addressed the situation, which was resolved by the creators continuing to sign comics from throughout the discussion.

Marvel's X-Men panel kicked off at the Chicago Comic Con in front of a lighter Sunday crowd.
On hand to host again was Jim McCann; among the talent that joined him were writers Craig Kyle, Christ Yost, and Jason Aaron.
McCann got the announcements rolling by discussing a new ongoing, S.W.O.R.D. . It will star Agent Brand, Beast, and Lockheed, picking up on the bits from Astonishing X-Men .

The line stretched around a few corners for the Mondo Marvel Panel on Saturday at Wizard's Chicago Comic-con.
The gathering, rivaled only by the line on the wall opposite preparing for a Twilight panel, seemed to be in good spirits on what had been a sweltering day in the city and, more importantly, on the con floor.
Fan discussion has turned on a variety of Marvel topics lately, but seemingly none more than all things Dark Reign.

The Mondo Marvel Panel is underway at the Chicago Comic-Con, with Jim McCann moderating a discussion with editor Mark Paniccia, Dan Slott, Lauren Sankovitch, Jason Aaron, Sean McKeever, Chris Yost, and Craig Kyle.
Slott and Marcus Martin will be doing a Mysterio arc in "Amazing Spider-Man" beginning in issue 618-619, McCann announced.
